This is a complete course to help the individual person either get started in, or help with achieving their goals in running.
This program has been developed to help assess your current capabilities, strengths and weaknesses. All of this done, in an effort to introduce you to a mainly injury free running lifestyle!
This style of training will allow us to evaluate and help develop a training plan for each INDEPENDENT person. This is not a one-size-fits-all method. These types of programs move you out of your comfort zone, so we can help to better prepare not only your body, but your mind!
Simple, we are human, and will be working with you along the way! The largest failing point of any structured plan is....ACCOUNTABILITY! Being here in Northern Michigan, we have traveled to meet with various groups of people for training sessions. Our #1 goal is to get you moving. This is not a "couch to 5k" plan or a basic marathon plan. These plans take time to develop, and the first step, is to see where you currently are.
That's fine! You can still use this basic assessment to see where your current fitness levels are. After you do the basics, you can send us the results, and we can give you a snapshot as to where you fall, within this fitness test. Then you can decide for yourself if you would like to continue on your own, or would like for us to get you not only a plan together, but give you the accountability partner you may need to give that little extra push.
